Let us interest you in some light reading that pertains to some rad concerts coming up…
First of all, Behind the Beat has a couple additions to their lineup, including as soon as this Friday. Yep, this Friday, or September 28th, Behind the Beat will welcome Louka Patenaude Trio to the stage for a night of jazz guitar. Patenaude will blow you away with his guitar talent, since he can not only play jazz, but country and reggae too. Also joining the Behind the Beat lineup is The New Breed on November 2nd. Check out both of these performances if you’re in the mood for some swinging beats.
Another artist who is coming up soon is Rockie Fresh, this October 19th. A young rap artist from Chicago, Rockie Fresh has grabbed the attention of Rick Ross and the lead-singer of Fall Out Boy, Patrick Stump. This has lead to many recording opportunities, and with the release of The Otherside, Rockie Fresh was considered Metromix’s “25 Hottest Artists Under 25.” Songs like “How We Do” or “Into the Future” rapidly connects word after word to form lyrics that will get your head bumpin’.
